You know when you're just minding your own business, reading a super-long paper, and you have a sudden realization and totally understand what your random, seemingly meaningless data (that even your committee can't interpret) means? Yeah. That's awesome.
For the first time all year, I am excited about my work. It feels really good. I guess this is what the Div III process is supposed to be like? I mean, I'm still going to be in the library all night tonight and probably tomorrow night as well, but now I actually know what I'm writing about instead of just pulling words out of my ass. Well done, Lily's Brain.
